Tom took Charlotte on a father/daughter trip just the two of them this past weekend. The kids did not have school on Monday or Tuesday, so they slipped away for a couple of days. They backpacked in on the Rose River Loop. I think that they had a lot of fun, but it was a little bit cold. They came home a day early because Charlotte was just too cold at night. They hike about 17 miles Tom said. Charlotte did wonderfully! She's a good little hiker! They saw a few waterfalls, but most of the falls were really low...no water. They saw a few animals though. Mostly I think that Charlotte shivered!
