Well, now that it has been three and a half weeks since our trip, I will post a picture. I have been so busy that I haven't even looked at the pictures myself until now!
Tom and I took a backpacking trip to Harper's Ferry, WV. It was a wonderful trip though the weather was less than optimal. It was very cloudy, and it rained quite a bit. Our spirits were not dampened though. We had a great time.
Harper's Ferry has so much history in addition to the geography. We enjoyed a great hike, and we saw really cool stuff. I can't wait to take the kids when we go back. We also drove up to the Antietam Battleground while we were so close...or should I say Sharpsburg for all of my fellow Southerners. It too was incredible to see. Such carnage there. You can feel it.
I highly recommend a trip to the area. Lots of cool little shops and great stuff to see!
