Now I was gullible as a kid, but this is ridiculous. In reading the news this morning I came across this article about a kid in Hammond, Indiana who stuck his tongue out to touch a pole, and...yep, you guessed it, it froze to the pole. I mean, didn't this kid see A Christmas Story?!? (Which also takes place in Hammond, Indiana...weird...) You can't make this stuff up!Friday, January 16, 2009

It doesn't surprise me!
What a great movie. Perhaps he saw it and didn't believe it was true and just had to see for himself.
My son once reached into the freezer, retrieved a piece of ice, and in the process of popping it into his mouth the ice cube stuck to his bottom lip. It was really funny...but it kind of freaked him out. That scene in the movie always made me cringe.
