And so it is...Friday. Hallelujah.

I am also so very please to report to you that finally...finally there is a release date for Krakauer's new book, Where Men Win Glory: The Odyssey of Pat Tillman...previously entitled, The Hero. Amazon says Sept. 15th. I am very anxious. And yes, I have preordered!

Now, many of you may know...I practically worship Krakauer. At the risk of sounding blasphemous, Into the Wild was one of the most enjoyable books I have ever read, as was Into Thin Air. I just enjoy his style of writing so much. I feel as if he is talking to me...very personal. I like it. However, DO NOT SEE the movie Into the Wild without having read the book first. The book is so superior to the movie...you will miss out on much by seeing the movie first.

SOOOOO...I am very anxious to read the next one. The Hero was supposed to be released last May, a year ago. Then it was pushed to September last year, then to January this year, and now to September '09. I surely hope that this will be it. I had heard that there were discrepancies with the publishers or something. Now with the new title, I hope that it will truly be released on the date given.

Ahhh...I love looking forward to a good book. I can't wait!
