I know that it has been more than a week since my last post...AND I missed confession yesterday. :( However, I am more than overjoyed to inform you that I have mailed my National Board Certification "box" with my portfolio. As I went to the mailing center to send it, I felt as though I were leaving my child on the doorstep of an orphanage or something...Now, I have rushed home to check the FedEx site every ten minutes and track its delivery. It has become a disease...Tom is going to help cure me with a day hike at Harper's Ferry to see the sites of "the war between the states" as he calls it. He refuses to call it the Civil War...Hey, that's progress...at least he still doesn't say "the war of Northern aggression" :) Just kidding...Something about them burning down his great, great, great grandparents house...
Hope your Easter was glorious. God is truly so good. We had a wonderful day Sunday...The kids had fun, Dad's sermon was inspiring, and Tom and I had a good long walk that day in the fabulous weather.
And hey...I bought new day hikers today too...found some North Face Gortex day runners for $36...not too bad. Now that I have mailed that crazy thing, nothing can be bad!

YEAHH!!! CONGRATS ON GETTING THAT OUT!
Bink
Mega-Congratulations!!!
What a huge accomplishment!
What is it about that war that we still struggle with? I was reading Churchill's History of the English Speaking People and he writes endlessly about it. He thinks it defined the American character for the following century. I like the phrase "War of Northern Agression," because with the exception of Gettysburg and a few battles in Maryland, the Northern troops were, indeed, trespassers. I have heard it also called "the recent unpleasantness," but let your husband stick to his guns. He's got it right!
