Warning: This is yet another self indulgent post about how wonderful my children are... :)This past weekend Charlotte received her letter of acceptance in the Magnet Academy in our town. She was so very excited! It is rather difficult to get into the Academy. They have many, many applicants and only about 100 spots. She has worked very hard in school, and we are very proud of her accomplishment. She has had principal's list all year thus far. She obviously takes after her father! :) Charlotte is such a sweet spirit, and she just loves to get lost in a book (maybe she does take after me a little...)
I am very excited to have both of my girls here at school with me. The proximity affords us many opportunities that other parents do not have. I am very fortunate...all except for the convenience of hitting me up for money. I supposed that I deserve that karma...I am certain that my father would think so... :)
Tom and I are so blessed to have such wonderful children. Charlotte (and Joanna, Carson is getting there) understands the significance of education and hard work. She applies herself and now it is paying off for her. What a great life lesson! We had a great time celebrating this weekend. We are so proud of her!
