Yesterday afternoon when I got home from work, this is what we did. :) Even though the kids are out of school, I have to work until the end of the month. I try to find something fun to do after work to make up for being away. (Mom guilt) Sometimes they stay with my parents or Tom's parents...that's not too bad. At least they are having fun with them, but if I have to be away, I really want to have even more fun when I get home...dinner, sminner...who had time to cook!
Yesterday's fun was a tepee. I found a neat little site that had directions for one, and it wasn't to difficult at all. We had fun making it. Of course my poor husband laments to me later..."I built them an air conditioned playhouse..." (another twinge of guilt) "This is portable though." I tried to convince him that the two are apples and oranges. I am not sure that he found any solace with my argument.
The neighbor children were VERY jealous. Carson beamed. It was a great afternoon. :)
