Monday...only twelve more in the school year!

We had such lovely weather this weekend, that it caused me to start thinking about summertime. It was almost 80* yesterday. So nice!

This summer I want to grow some vegetables in the backyard. I have been doing a little research about attractive ways to do this. I mean, a regular garden is ok, but I would like to try for something a little more aesthetically pleasing. I really enjoy gardening, but want to try something a little different.

I think that I am going to try to split up my little garden...half planted the usual way, and half of it a hanging garden. I found this video on hanging tomato plants...I thought that this would be great for tomatoes in the bottom and some herbs in the top. I think that I am going to try a few peppers this way too. I am excited to give it a try. I will post pictures of my ideas when I get the ball rolling.

Time to head to Home Depot!
