Two Weeks!

This marks the two weeks date of our trip. Wow! What we have seen in two weeks! We stayed at a hotel in Moab for the night. It has just been so hot out here in the desert. We took a short respite from the heat to stay in the cool AC, get a real shower, and sleep in a real bed. It was nice. Then in the morning we drove over to Arches National Park. We were staying fairly close. We took a short hike to a few spots. There were quite a few people there. The arches were spectacular. We took a few pictures of the kids, and then we drove around to look at the various formations. We did not spend a great deal of time there, but we did see many interesting things. We finished looking and decided to drive on to Bear Lake. It was north of Arches. It wasn’t too long of a drive to get there. However, when we did arrive it was raining. We decided not to put up the tent. We just decided to sleep in the van. It was a little bit cold too. We slept ok. It was tight quarters though.
